Akilah

I just know that whenever Akilah bites the dust it’s going to be so beyond tragic. After her storyline in season 2 with her taking care of the dead mouse, it’s very heart warming to see her taking care of the animals they’ve gathered in the new episodes. The scene where she let Travis hold Mortimer the duck was just so freaking cute. Shauna and Mel’s reaction to the crown she made for Shauna for the solstice ceremony was just so nasty. (I suppose Shauna is somewhat justified because she doesn’t believe in the wilderness spirit, and doesn’t want them involving her dead child in their ceremonies, but still Akilah had good intentions)

With Travis trying to shift the focus of Lottie away from him towards Akilah won’t end well. And I’m already dreading it:( She’s probably the last one left with any semblance of innocence.
