Winter Shave Of The Day (Wednesday)

Beard Growth: ~24 hours

Pre-Shave - A simple hot water rinse

Shave Cream - Vicco Turmeric - Sandalwood

Shave Brush - Rubab Men Firefly

Lathering - Face Lathering

Passes - With and Across (the grain)

Post-shave - Alum - No Feedback. BSC turmeric and sandalwood lotion.

This is a good beginner razor. It is head heavy but extremely light on the whole. The side tabs of the blade protrude significantly. The inside shoulder of the handle is made of metal so metal (screw) touches metal (razor shoulder). This razor will last for some time - it just needs proper care (oiling and cleaning). It can become a no-bother travel razor too.

One against the grain pass could have given baby-like cheek smoothness. But, I refrained from it as one edge of the blade had turned quite dull. Hemce, I avoided potential irritation and alum feedback. It was a satisfactory shave - nope, this is an understatement! ;)
