Soap Issue

I am having a lot of issue when washing the razor after a stroke. The soap just doesn’t come off. I read in a post’s comment here that I might not be developing the lather correctly. How to improve that ??

I use Trigodon and Shavologist. Both soaps have given me this problem. But I know it is not the soap but there is something I am missing in my skill/process.
