How do you manage to get 10,000 steps a day?

Hi, so I’m around 200 lbs and am 5’4. I was at the doctors and they were saying to get 10,000 steps a day. I get an average of 3,000-4,000 steps a day and I’m exhausted. I like to think that I work pretty hard, because I don’t get home until 6 and when I do I eat dinner and go to bed. I don’t have energy to function any more than I have been, and google has told me to take an extra 1,000 steps a day. But I don’t have the energy for 1,000 more. If I were to take a 1,000 step walk, I feel like I can’t breathe and my legs are on fire. I was at a busy event yesterday, and walked 11,000 steps and I have giant blisters on my feet and my legs feel like my calves have had a meat tenderizer taken to them. I just want to lose the weight and be done with it. How do I manage 10,000 steps a day?
