More advanced painting techniques

Hi everyone! I painted my 1st three minis last week and I want to know where I can improve on and some more advanced painting techniques to try (i.e glowing, better highlighting/better recess shading etc)

I know I'm never going to be amazing straight away and I can't expect that (although my brain wants perfection immediately) 😅

Please help with some contrusructive criticism and where to go next from here?

(Photos taken on my phone so not the best quality) I know i need a matt coat to set the paldrons back as they're a bit shiny from adding the transfers
