New Bruising Day 4

Had my procedure last Friday. (No scalpel - with cauterization and clips) Have had a lot more soreness on the right than the left. The left almost feels like nothing happened. The right side still feels like I got kicked in the nuts a few minutes ago. I iced a lot on Saturday and Sunday. Took it pretty easy on Monday. Called the doctors office due to pain on only one side and they had me come in. Doc was out and I saw the nurse practitioner. NP said maybe could be a mild infection but couldn’t even find the sore spot because he kept feeling at my testicle and the pain is much higher up in the scrotum. I told him but I felt ignored. He just kinda shrugged and said maybe a small infection and wrote me a scrip for levaquin.

Last night my soreness increased and I found that I have new bruising that has appeared on the right side. The bruise is high up on the scrotum almost on the shaft.

Is all of this typical? Should I go back in and insist on seeing the doctor? Should I get a second opinion? Should I just chill the fuck out and wait and let this thing heal?

EDIT/UPDATE: The doctor’s front office staff told me that the doc isn’t available until NEXT Friday (8/21)... I don’t know what to do now...
