Transmission blew after just 1400 miles RIP

2000 Chevy Express 1500, ~114,000 miles

Unfortunate she blew the transmission less than 2000 miles from purchase, I was about a week away from completing the build too.

What should I look for when calling shops for a replace / rebuild? Warranty, reviews, service, etc?
