Valorant Insanely High CPU Usage

I will start off by saying I don't know if this is the right place to post this but I hope it is. If it isn't please let me know in the comments.

While playing Valorant recently, I was noticing that I was dropping fps very often (change of gun, 45 degree turn, etc) and I starting having task manager open at the same time as playing and noticed that Valorant was using anywhere between 65-80% CPU usage while GPU usage for Valorant was anywhere under 15%.

I have spent so many hours trying to find fixes only and used my small knowledge on software to try and lower CPU usage.

My average fps before this was 144 and would drop very rarely down to about 120. Now my average fps is 45 and can drop to 15 in intense fights.

My specs are: AMD Ryzen 5 3550H 16gbs of ram (2x8gbs) GTX 1650 Mobile 2gbs of storage (don't know why this would matter)
