Lowkey struggling to get out of gold

Peaked gold 3 in episode 5 and took a huge break. Have just come back and have climbed from S2 to G2 this act but it is slow going and taking a lot of games. I feel like I am better than most people in my lobbies but are often let down by teammates that bait and don’t know how to use utility. I always q with my duo. What are some tips from you guys that helped you escape gold?
