What happens when you enter illegally in USA?

Hey, I have an american dream. I'm not gonna lie. I live in a third world country and its really difficult to live here because we don't get paid well. I've been planning to come to USA. can you tell me what are some ways? Also, from which side should i enter? And what things should i keep in mind to not get caught? Also, once i entered, how will i approach people to give me work?
