Made a credit card payment towards wrong card 🤦🏻♂️
Hey everyone!
Made a payment against the wrong credit card. I recently opened a new account with Wio and registered my ADCB credit card. I just noticed today that By mistake I entered the last four digits incorrectly causing me to change one digit back and forth. Now the payment status on the Wio account is now showing as cleared.
I contacted ADCB, but they informed me that they cannot assist me since I need to reach out to Wio for support. Wio has the authority to recall the payment upon my request. I have already called Wio but they have requested an email proof of my contact with ADCB customer care and their non-response or denial of assistance. They said If ADCB customer care do not respond, we will escalate the dispute to a higher level or another team.
What’s my chances ? Has anyone gone through this before ?
