Unhealthy rage after robbery

My parents have a summer house. It's inherited from my great great grandparents. Its in the middle of nowhere and contains mostly small commodities to make the house comfortable for a weekend away from the city.

This morning I woke up with a call from my dad, someone broke into the house again. Second time this month. Probably to try to take the leftovers they couldn't carry last time.

Here is some of the "very valuable" things they've stolen: bedsheets, cutlery, the fireplace plate, my dad's handmade tools, the control panel for our one solar panel (only source of electricity there), a 14" TV, a 5ft tall cactus?!?

And I'm angry. Not because of the value of the things they took but because of the distress they are causing to my parents and the damages that they've done to the house (damaging the facade of a >100years old house). But mostly because the police who won't even bother to show up to do the report!!

I'm furious, I wish there was a way to ruin their lives forever.
