Favorite non-mainstream albums of 2024?

Lots of talk here lately about 2024's pop stars and hit songs, so I'd like to know, what were some of your favorite albums from smaller, lesser-known, or indie artists, or just anyone who gets talked about far less than the artists on Todd's end of the year list? I'll start:

-Love Heart Cheat Code by Hiatus Kaiyote. After waiting three years for another album from them, I couldn't be happier. It's chock-full of addictive, catchy melody hooks with a soul and funk flair. And they even go into musical places they haven't before, exploring some hardcore/noise sounds.

-Hotel La Rut by Joanna Wang. Joanna has always been a versatile artist but this album left me especially impressed with the amount of genre-jumping. It's full of campy theater-kid flair and everything from prog to ska. Lots of songs that are outright bizarre and hilarious lyrically, I mean there's an entire song about swimming backstroke, a song about a haunted house, and a song about stalking the members of a boy band. Just a super fun listen.
