Trainwreckords from relatively niche genres?

What are some Trainwreckords from genres that are only really discussed within a relatively small fandom. Or maybe not discussed at all, just something you think about.

For instance, most people don’t care about the new age band Enigma, but they were faves of mine as a teen. Their first two albums were big sellers and each produced a genuine pop hit (‘Sadeness’ and ‘Return To Innocence’). Then their third album was a subtle change of sound: more murky, less clubby, more male singing, sci-fi sounds and NASA samples instead of gothic / erotic imagery. Then for their next album they tried to go backwards, but sampling ‘O Fortuna’ stank of desperation. And after that they seemed to become a generic techno act
