Stuff you wish you knew your first time in thailand?
Hi everyone,
Im planning my first ever trip to Thailand and hoping to stay from end of September to end of November so closing in on 2 months. I am wondering what is some things you wish you knew your first time visiting. Im a 21 year old college grad who has been training muay thai and had some fights in the past with my thai coach so thankfully I have some basic understanding of thai mannerisms and activities to do. I also am lucky enough to have extended family who actually own a popular resort on kho tao who has been so good with answering the questions I can think of.
Where the problem lies is i don't know what I don't know if that makes sense. I've backpacked before in south and central america but never solo travel which both excites me and makes me nervous.
Im very sociable and open to everything, hoping to have a Bourdain perspective on my travels.
Any things I should know/do/bring to prevent obvious first timer mistakes?
Thanks all!
