Model 3 Charging Cable Locking Issue.Anyone Else Experienced This

I've been having some trouble with the charging cable on my Model 3. The little locking mechanism inside the socket doesn’t always latch properly when I plug the cable in, and when it does, it won’t release after charging is done. I end up having to pull the manual release every time to unplug it and even after that it doesn't retract so I have to pull the manual cable again

Has anyone else dealt with this issue and knows what might be causing it?
