Can you increase the Episode/Story mode difficulty?

Memes aside. The difficulty is a little too low for most of these episode matches.

Edit: Seriously with the downvotes, have you even played past Ape Vegeta? You practically autowin half the battles, in fact, I think you straight up do win the vast majority of them after a time.

So far, even as a new player, the only battles that slow me down have been Vegeta and the first match with Black/Zamasu (they got easier?). Hell, I still can't play the game well enough to even combo past the tutorial stuff, but with how short most health bars are in the story, and how you can meet certain conditions to basically auto-win, I need something to prevent button-mashing and special spam from winning.

I don't want to enter online matches without being able to take on the high level AI, and I'd prefer if i got all this practice whilst unlocking all the episode rewards. Kill 2 birds with one stone, instead of screwing around and burning out on boring AI fights.

But I can't see an option in settings to increase difficulty, only lower it. The "change difficulty" option inside the episodes only mentions swaps between default or lowered for me?
