How do u guys feel about sharing ur songs to loved ones/friends who dont make music?

I want to share my first song with my boyfriend but he doesnt make music at all & we even listen to different stuff, so, if i wna show him a song to gain feedback should i? Or is his opinion skewed cuz we listen to different things and he might want to spare my feelings with the feedback lol. If thats not a good idea, where else can i gain feedback besides reddit? As someone who has 0 knowledge/experience w music and is just having fun experimenting.
