Sims 2 Sim?

My game kept glitching whenever I tried to move the sim with black hair (the girlfriend) into my household. When I’d try to switch sims, it would glitch and the relationships would stay the same as what it was for the last sim if that makes sense. So I’d switch from the mom to the girlfriend and then the relationship would say husband for the dad even though that was her father in law. Also, all of those squares being highlighted was a part of the issue

After restarting the game and readding her to my house for like the 5th time, the picture of the Sims 2 sim popped up???😭😭
