Her Thoughts on Turning 29
Hi All!
First time posting on this sub. Something that has always bothered me about Sierra is how much she talks about how much she has achieved in such a short amount of time. It’s almost like a humble brag.
Like when I was turning 29 I was having major career struggles, had a boyfriend but not married or had any kids. And then I turned 30, Covid happened and I lost everything—job, boyfriend—had to move back in with my parents. Literally had no money in the bank.
I’m in a much better, more stable place now almost 5 years on, but then I look at Sierra and it’s like, I don’t understand how she could feel so complete at 29. There’s so much more life to happen and be lived.
It’s just hard when it seems like everything has gone her way and she’s struggled very little in all aspects of her life. And then she talks about it as if she is wise now, when in reality she’s still so young.
