Do I give up, see nice under 50?

So I'm young (31) and had a freak incident happen. I developed compartment syndrome whilst fighting strep throat, I had to spend about 3 months in the hospital having basically weekly surgeries to try and save my arm from infection that set in from an emergency fasciotomy and second one after that one due to pressure not fully going away. The severity of the issue caused me to lose function of my fingers in my dominant head. I then went through a skin graft that didn't take and caused an infection in my hand and plenty more just rough stuff. I applied in May 24 denied on 9/30/24 due to lack of medical records which were given to state on 10/2/24. Submitted appeal with the receipt stating I resubmitted over 400 pages of medical records from surgeons to PCP and OT at my local SSA office on 11/12/24. I keep seeing people say that they won't give to people under 50 but I am in position where I have all but lost my entire hand. Is it really likely I'll just keep getting denied?
