NYC United Half -- Start Area Parking Options

I'd appreciate any advice local runners might be able to share.

I'll be driving from the Philadelphia area on race morning - it's about 2 hours. The plan is to get to the Prospect park by about 5:30 or so and walk to the bag drop truck and then to the start line. My start is at 7:20am, so even if something goes wrong there should be a good buffer. After the race is over, I'll take subway back and drive back home.

I've done similar things for other races in the area, however I am not particularly familiar with the area where the race start is - so, I'd appreciate any kind of advice that comes to mind.

Given that the race starts next to the Prospect Park and goes up north, I'd imagine that parking south/east of the park might be the best option. Then, I assume Verrazzano-Narrows, I-278, Prospect Expwy, Caton Ave, Linden Blvd is the best way of approaching the start area without getting stuck with road closures. Does anyone know what the race morning (5-6am) traffic is like? And is there anything else I should keep in mind?
