Rimworld as a multi universal dumping ground
I love playing Rimworld like a multi universal dumping ground. Seeing a faction of dwarves armed with laser rifles battling a group of cybernetically enhanced Impids over a plasteel deposit is peak gameplay experience IMO.
Or having mismatched xenotype couples with genetically batshit kids (think: angel & titan, drow & genie, mindflayer & charmweaver) that either work great together or not at all - either way they gotta fend off a horde of manhunting T-Rex to defend the family home.
Cyberpunk pigskins on motorcycles versus a legion of Profaned? Sign me up.
You get it. For me it’s all about seeing different worlds clash and mingle.
I’m starting to plan a new playthrough, and looking to expand into even more. I’ll spare you my mod list cuz it’s pretty long but I’ve got most of vanilla expanded, most every xenotype I can find, events expanded, real ruins, psycasts expanded, Rimatomics, stuff like that.
I’m open to any thoughts or suggestions from the community here. Especially if there’s xenotypes you think I might not know of! But my main questions are:
Should I add Jedis to the mix? Do they blend well with everything else?
Same question with Rim of Magic.
Could I add both? Would they play well together?
Also are there any mods that add classic Alien Grays as a faction? That’d be fun.
