Acceptable grain break on black prairie?

Hi all, hate to be the thousandth person to ask a question like this, but I’m curious what others think. I got my blacksmiths just about a month ago, and I absolutely love them. The break in was super easy, no pain at all, I honestly can’t stress enough how good they feel. They fit perfectly, hug my feet slightly, after a month they feel like they were made for me. The only issue is this odd grain break pattern only on the right boot that started the very first time I put them on and continues to get worse. I don’t care too much about the aesthetics of it, I’m just honestly worried the leather will start cracking or something eventually.

Further context, I reached out to red wing customer service a few weeks ago and they never answered. Today I stopped by my local store and they insisted the boots are too big and it’s happening because “theres too much leather and it’s bunching up”. Which seriously annoyed me because, for one, it’s only happening on the right boot and for two, again, they fit my feet perfectly and I absolutely love how they feel.

Anyway, could you please advise as to whether I should further pursue customer service to try and get a replacement pair? I’m attached to my pair now, so I’d really only want to do that if it’s gonna cause serious issues in the future. Thanks in advance!
