Weird ass shit I don’t know the meanings of.

Shit I’ve found that I can’t understand why it exists. If anyone knows, help with the following:

Seriously, why when you charge one of Cosmic Brainz’s punches, why, if you hold it, then jump while holding, can you release the button, yet it still holds the charge until you land? (I tried kicking while this happened. It kept the charge even after the kick until I landed.)
