i thought that, in 2025, we were supposed to be doing better

or does that edict only apply to us participants?

(it already stings me enough how, try as i might, user testing functionally is useless to me — my demographics aren't sought after, so i don't get to benefit from a significantly-better compensation, for my being recorded!)
