Visible vs. Non-Visible Changes in Colposcopies
I've read quite a few times in this group that in some cases everything looks fine during a colposcopy, but 'random' biopsies later reveal CIN1/2/3.
However, some doctors don't take biopsies if there are no visible abnormalities and they just do a regular pap.
So, if you’ve had a colposcopy where no biopsies were taken because everything looked fine, can you relax and trust that everything is okay? Or should you still be concerned that something might have been missed?
Where I'm from the 'just in case' biopsies are just not a thing.
Thank you for your insights!
