What are some root prevention methods when running a water service line through a wooded area?
To get water service to my house site I am having to run 1 1/2" pex service line about 600' through a wooded area.
300' of which is through a 15' easement on my neighbors property, where I am trying to remove as few trees as possible. The last 300' is on my property, so I am going to clear a wider path to help avoid the issue.
My main question is whether there is any plastic barrier, pesticide, or other method I could use to help prevent roots from growing around the water line?
