Government job hiring process and final deliberation

Hi, gaano kaya katagal ang hiring process sa government? I already passed everything na (Exam, HR interview, final interview) except the “final deliberation” which is yet to be scheduled. Actually, medyo weird kasi nag message sakin yung isang boss ng department na inapplyan ko asking for updates and kung need ko pa magrender ng 30 days sa current job ko. He was also saying na they’re looking forward to welcome me na. Ang problem wala namang update yung HR nila. July 2 pa ako nagpasa ng extra requirements for final deliberation. Mag August na and wala pa ring update ang HR. Gustong gusto ko na magresign sa current job ko pero ang last update ng HR is they’ll email me once tapos na nila reviewhin yung application ko.
