When someone labels every wrong information provided as a lie
Example:
- “Is Jupiter or Neptune the biggest of the two?”
- “Uuh… Neptune, I think?”
- “OMG it’s Jupiter. You lied!”
Lying always involves an intent to willingly present false information.
If you presented information that you honestly thought to be true, it is not a lie. It is an error, a mistake or an inaccuracy. But it is not a lie.
