Questions on livestock

I'm doing a mental inventory of livestock I'd like to keep if I'm ever able.

I'm in West Michigan, zone 5b

I'm not super interested in butchering these animals for meat. Or rather, my partner is super against it--so the benefits here specifically exclude me at with one exception.

Here's my list:

MAMMALS (HERBIVORES) Herdwick sheep/wool, manure, grass clipping

Male Angora goats/brush clearing, manure, cashmere

Female Nubian goats/brush clearing, manure, kids, milk

1 female Vechur cattle/milk

Guard camelid (Alpaca, Llama, guacano, bactrian camel??)

Mule (labor, no riding)

MAMMALS (CARNIVORE) Guard dog Herding dogs Cat (inside only, pet)

BIRDS (ONLY FEMALES) Black Orpington chickens/eggs

Khaki Campbell ducks/eggs

Brown Chinese Geese/guarding, eggs

Emu/Additional/guarding, eggs, [distant hope I can talk my spouse into slaughtering it because they're absolute bastards if I remember correctly]

Anyway, my questions:

First, any obvious problems? Any breeds that are known to be overly inbred or not hardy?

Second, regarding guard animals, especially larger ones--how would they typically react to a herding dog? I like Corgis the most, but my spouse also likes German Shepherds. But I just..imagine an camelid or emu killing a corgi or even a German shepherd.

A goose I think is probably pretty safe as far as a German Shepherd but I'm not sure about a Corgi.

An obvious solution would be to use a guard dog instead of a guard camelid or emu, but that doesn't seem as fun.
