Sabo and Vivi actually scaped from Marijoa?!!
So I might be completely and utterly wrong but the possibility of Sabo escaping Marijoa is not that bad. Ok let's see what Gorosei said in the latest chapter(1037) of the manga:
They said reverie was cursed, Meaning things didn't go well for them. Now if they captured Sabo the second in command of the revolutionaries, and also did something to Vivi as they originally planned to do, then why would they say that the Reverie was cursed? They should be happy instead because they were so fortunate to accomplish all that.
But would it make sense for Sabo to have escaped the Marijoa that easily? after all Sabo and a few good men were up against 2 Navy Admirals. For them to just escape that easily wouldn't make sense, right?? I don't think Oda would do that to his Admirals, especially green bull. Do you think he would get an L from the first thing that he does?
But we should take into consideration that Sabo fought pacifically Fujitora and Green bull of all people. Now this is not power scaling bullshit, No no no I'm not trying to say they escaped because the admirals that they faced were weak or something, But I'm talking about the MORAL reason for Fuji and Green bull to let Sabo escape willingly.
So we know that Fujitora is a nice guy at heart, and also green bull and fuji are a duo, meaning they are working towards the same or a similar goal and that goal can coincide with the destruction of WG:(It's not a sure thing we just know that Oda showed this theory in an SBS, Why would he do that? It's a very long theory to show in your SBS, isn't it?)
So if these two admirals actually let Sabo and the captains escape and made a deal with Sabo to keep quite, but what they reported to HQ was that they have actually killed Sabo, that would explain the news that shocked everyone about Sabo and why WG actually spread that news. I mean they do spread fake news but they also cover the truth. If Sabo is just alive and they knew that but just because they wanted to save face they spread fake news of his death... well that would be stupid.
Also, we can assume that Sabo actually took Vivi with him and that's why Gorosei are so pissed about the Reverie. I mean from all the characters that imu had the pictures of, We knew that only Vivi was in real danger, So not being able to kill or imprison Vivi would also explain why Gorosei are so pissed at Reverie.
But at the end of the day, there is a lot of speculation with this theory to the point that even I'm not too confident in it. For example Fujitora getting injuries might be sign that they fought to the death or something
