Long term Huperzine-A use?

Hi all - I’ve been taking HA for almost 2 years now because it changed my life. It just makes me clear headed, process things a bit better, helps my ADHD a bit, and feel more confident. I just feel like I can tackle it all in my highly demanding stressful finance job + daily life.

I take only 25-50mcg just 2x a week. Usually Mondays and Thursdays.

Other choline supplements make me feel awful even at low dosages. Because HA is so impactful and enjoyable, I haven’t stopped. I have gone off it for a few weeks twice, but missed the feeling and went back on. No “hangover” or side effects when I stopped.

I know there are no long-term studies out there but I’ve read some people suggesting it might actually accelerate dementia.

Can anyone just kindly and with good intent give me any informed opinions that may suggest whether it is good or bad in the long run? Appreciating any friendly advice! This is truly important to me.
