Will having sex with my girlfriend while she’s ovulating get her pregnant?

Okay so this is gonna sound weird but basically my girlfriend is coming over next weekend for the first time, and she told that she planned it so she could pull up on her ovulation day. Obviously this sounds like a great idea to me, but I was talking to my friend and she said it’s a bad idea. She said that any other day it would be fine, but on ovulation day things are extra dangerous, which I know, but I planned on using a condom anyways.

She says that wearing a condom doesn’t matter if she’s ovulating, and that it’s still super dangerous and she could get pregnant regardless. This sounds kinda dumb to me because I feel like a condom is a good form of birth control, but I don’t want to take any chances if she’s right and it actually doesn’t matter yknow? What are y’all’s thoughts
