Help w lens for my z6

So I bought a gently used z6 awhile ago to take photos of my tattoo work, but lately while fishing I have been wishing to use it for photographing birds. What is the best value lens these days that you would recommend? Is there one to keep an eye out for that would be on the used market? I have the lens adapter for older stuff if that helps. Thank you!
