My fellow bus commuters to NYC, your congestion pricing thoughts..
I’ve definitely noticed way less congestion going into the Lincoln on our route. The 495 clog around Secaucus seems to be way better. I’m still skeptical but I’d still like to see what happens when the next school year comes around in September. That’s usually the busiest time IMO when people’s lives and commute patterns change and the summer slow down has ended. For reference my commute is from north Monmouth county. I haven’t noticed my bus any more packed than usual either. The bus is just so much smoother in terms of keeping to schedule. The trains are so volatile in my experience.
Edit: my post is more about the actual bus commute and not the actual ins and outs of congestion pricing. Strictly for the commute. Poorly written title on my end.
