PML anxiety

Hello I’ve recently been diagnosed a few days ago, and I’m going to be either taking Vumerity or Copaxone, I did test positive for the JCV at 1.6 whatever that means, and I’m worried of getting it on these medications I’d rather take Vumerity because it’s more preventative but am worried for the PML my Dr said PML is only a concern with some medication with a T but when I googled myself it says Pml may be a side effect with Vumerity… can anyone confirm if it’s a risk with Vumerity and what their experiences on it have been
