Car trip advices

In April I will cross by car from Ketama to Merzouga and from Merzouga to Marrakech, what are the best places to visit during the drive ? I know there a lot of random villages during the street and I will visit them for sure, but I want to know if is there something famous or a “must to visit” during this streets.
