Who do i gank first as a jungler?

I have a question for jungle mains, who do u gank first? Gold lane or exp or just the easiest kill? Because i always take the buff that is opposite of the gold lane at the start so i can gank the gold lane always, but sometimes i see people ganking exp laners, why's that?
