Did Micro Center gave me a virus?

I bought a motherboard from Micro Center back in January to upgrade from my old build to something nice. I went from a ASRock B660 to an Asus TUF Z790 Plus-Wifi. I made sure to get QVL Ram, so I won't have problems, but problems I did have. Multiple BSOD, corrupt files, missing drivers. And after testing all of my components, I came to realize that my mobo is faulty.

I did buy the warranty for the mobo and I decided to use the MC repair center. After about 2 weeks, I finally got my build back, but I was surprised to see that everything in my drive got deleted and Windows get upgraded to 11. I did know that this was a possibility, so I made sure to back everything up. It was upsetting that they did that without letting me know of the change. But when I launched my PC and downloaded Steam, I immediately got hit with the steamui.dll error code. Then my Windows Security started to get pop-up after pop-up, showing me the virus 'Win32/Expiro.EB!MTB'.

So, after disconnecting my ethernet and turning of my Wifi. I started to try and remove it using Windows Security but to no avail, then I disabled most of my programs and used Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool. It finally did the trick. But then after I restated it, it still showed back up. I could nuke it, and factory reset the drive, but I remember that it possibly won't fix the problem. So, for now, my PC is unusable and has become the 2nd most expensive paper weight. I am right now using my LAN PC, trying to reset all of my passwords from my accounts just to be safe and using it as the backup PC. I already sent an email, explaining my problems and how it just became even worse, and seeing that they didn't even update my drivers or removed my corrupted files.
