Ibuprofen

Is anyone else baffled by Devin’s ibuprofen confession? He’s talking like it’s crack or opioids. It’s used widely as an everyday painkiller, in my country at least, and it’s not physically addictive or a drug of abuse. I’m not minimising that he had a terrible time, but I don’t get the emphasis on the ibuprofen.
