What the hell happened to Sarah Sherman?

I am sorry but she has been on a steady downwards spiral ever since her first season. When she joined the show, I was escatic. I watched clips of her stand up, her digital comedy and it felt fresh, unique and exciting and I was interested to see this new voice on SNL. Screwball comedy, body horror, grotesque imagery. Get that all in SNL to highlight new talent. And now by Season 50 every single remnant of her previously unique personality is completely gone and she just feels like any other SNL cast member. Her recent Nancy Grace bit or anything else she's done feels like it could be replaced by any other cast member and would be better for it.

To highlight, here is the list of all the sketches that Sarah has done her past 4 seasons that I enjoyed:

Season 47, Meatballs, Oscar Isaac Season 47, Chucky, Jane Gyllenhall Season 48, Eyes, Brendan Gleeson, which I think is overall her best sketch and performance Season 48, Jewish Elvis, Austin Butler, where she's okay but is also the weakest part of the sketch with Austin stealing the show Season 49, Tennis Match, Jason Mamoa, which is good but feels dime a dozen to other "shock reveal of sudden blood" sketches, all much inferior to Farewell Mr Bunting

That's it!

Most of her other sketches are unwatchable. She is a waitress who cannot pronounce the food! She is a clumsy nurse who's killing the patient! And Sarah overacts everything using all the same mannerisms which makes all her characters feel repetitive and tired. And her Weekend Update characters are awful. Hey guys! Colin Jost sucks! Isn't that funny? Laugh! I really enjoyed it the first three times and also the Peppa Pig anally entering each other bit was pretty funny but other then that she rarely says any actual jokes and solely relies on either mugging or Jost sucks.

Hoping that she regains her previous oddball personality and sense of humour. I remember reading about a cut Keiran Culkin episode Surgery sketch that apparently was too gross and shocked too many of the audience so it was cut so I'm hoping they bring it back because its exactly the risk taking the show needs to take. However if its like that awful recent Chris Rock and Adam Sandler sketch, maybe keep it locked.
