Almost A Year In The Making Lol

So this story starts about a year ago. I had wanted to make a Pattinson Batman, however I wasn’t a fan of the available Lego parts (beyond the torso and legs). Well around this time, Firestar Toys released their Pattinson arm upgrades. Okay, cool! But still no cowl or cape. So fast forward about a month or so, and I discover InputBrick through a video they did about their custom Pattinson Batman stuff. I was intrigued to say the least! I checked their website, and they had a lot more stuff available at the time. I had stuff in my cart for months, when eventually the stuff all sold out and it seemed like there would be no restock. I thought I’d have to shelve this figure for quite some time. While I had these items in my cart, I had made an AliExpress order for a knockoff Batman that came with a plastic cape that was much more fitting for the Pattinson suit. Then, about halfway through 2024, InputBrick partnered with Firestar Toys. Here, the cowl was available again and was pre-painted and glossed so it was set. Alongside this was a UV printed head to match the cowl. If any of you have ordered from Firestar before and you live in the US, you’ll know that it takes a good bit for items to arrive and that it is not cheap. So again, I held these items in my cart for some time. Like the time before, items sold out. I had to wait for a restock (this took many more months). Still, I had not learned my lesson and the same thing happened when I had finally decided to buy the items: SOLD OUT!!!! This time, I went to eBay to see if anyone had them in the US that might arrive faster and have a better shipping cost. I was I. Luck! I bought these items (cowl, head, and arms) and they arrived mid-November. At this point I saw no reason to post this figure. So now, I have the hero but no villain. I went back to the Input video to see what he did for Riddler. He had made an incredible figure using official parts and a custom 3D printed mask. I went in search of this, but I had no luck. Then, in early December, I get a message from the Firestar Newsletter about a new item— the Riddler mask!! I finally learned my lesson and did not hesitate in ordering the mask. I then went ahead and ordered the parts to make Riddler from Bricklink (parts will be in the description for those interested). Finally, well over a month later, the last part I needed arrived! So there we have it. A year in the making. My two Pattinson characters completed. I hope you all enjoy!! I’m continuing my making of Batman characters from various points in the character’s lifespan that will be going up over the next couple of weeks (and some other figures that I’ve purchased to go alongside these guys)
