Scriptwriter Should Take My Idea For The Super Bowl
Hear me out:
Super Bowl LIX: #1 Kansas City Chiefs (15-2) at #1 Detroit Lions (15-2).
First quarter: Lions score a touchdown with Goff passing to St Brown on the opening drive, and defenses ball out. Chiefs 0, Lions 7.
Second quarter: Defenses continue to ball out, with Bates scoring a field goal at the end of the half. Chiefs 0, Lions 10.
Third quarter: Chiefs offense comes to life. They score a touchdown on the opening drive with Mahomes throwing to Kelce (7-10), and Butker kicks a field goal on a later drive (10-10). After some punts, the quarter ends with the Montgomery scoring a touchdown for the Lions. Chiefs 10, Lions 17.
Fourth quarter: The Chiefs have the ball and the drive culminates in Pacheco running into the endzone for a TD (17-17). After punts from both teams, Goff then throws a TD pass to LaPorta (17-24). The Chiefs' attempt to regain the lead falters as Mahomes is sacked deep into Lions territory on a 3rd and 6. Butker kicks a field goal (20-24). The Lions then decide to run the ball a lot to kill time, yet Goff throws an incompletion on a 3rd and 4 deep into Chiefs territory. Campbell elects to go for it, but Goff is sacked by Chris Jones, and the two minute warning hits. Mahomes takes the field after the Lions' turnover on downs, and executes a game winning drive culminating in a touchdown pass to Xavier Worthy.
Final Score: Chiefs 27, Lions 24.
