Choso in Yuta's place for the four-way deadlock in Sendai
- Wanted to start making something new which I think I'll do since the subreddit is starting to run out of ideas and get bored. Randomly thought of this and I'm positive I will make this something I do on a consistent basis but with that being said, let's get into how Choso would fair in Yuta Okkotsu's position.
Beginning of the fight
- Unironically Kurousuhi gets dealt with easier than Yuta did for the simple fact that Choso isn't the type to care about hiding his abilities, especially when he only has Blood Manipulation and extensions of it.
- Personally, I believe that Curse Spirits can receive poison damage as I see no reason as to why they wouldn't, and considering it's in character for Choso to always start off with his strongest attack which we know is Blood Manipulation (Piercing Blood), Kuroushi shouldn't be able to react to it.
Prepping his attack before the fight even begins
- In the verse we already seen a weaker Yuji Itadori fight Yuta to which they were relative in basically everything that revolves around physical prowess and during the Shibuya Incident, Yuji should be even stronger and he only had a 50/50 chance to dodge and Kuroushi is slower than Yuta so yeah.
- Here's the scaling essentially, Kurousuhi <~ Yuta =~ (Weakened) Yuji < (Shibuya Incident) Yuji physically at least. This means Kuroushi is a victim of Choso, onto the next part which is against Takako Uro.
Yuta out speeding Kurousushi who rushed Yuta first
Choso stated Yuji is still weakened and injured due to what happened in Shibuya
Midst of the fight
- For the sake of simplicity, I'll say he doesn't have an exploding blood orb near him when Takako appears meaning what happened to Yuta happens here, she will launch him by bending the sky.
- Basically, I see the same events playing out, Choso attempts to strike her, gets his arms warped then Ishigori appears with Curse Energy Discharge (Grantie Blast) destroying a vast amount of the area.
- Unlike Yuta, I believe Choso would take a different approach and focus on Takako still but being cautious of the Ishigori's blast trying to anticipate it. Then using Blood Manipulation (Supernova) to hover around him for his next encounter against Takako to catch her off-guard with one.
- I can already see people saying "hE's gLaZiNG ChOSo" But I'll let people think what they want, I believe this would in fact catch Takako by surprise poisoning her as it has a 71% accuracy when used within the series working on Yuji, Ryomen Sukuna, Naoya Zenin and nearly working on Kenjaku someone who knows the move to a tea. He required using his gravitation to stop it which he could have used Curse Spirits but couldn't. Also, it's in character for Takako to play with her food if they're strong enough.
Conclusion of the fight
- Now it's just Ishigori versus Choso I believe Ishigori keeps a similar strategy firing multiple blasts from a distance which will keep him at bay for a second, Yuta only got the opportunity of getting up close because of Rika knocking that bridge down (before fighting Kuroushi) but Choso won't have that.
- Choso would go into Blood Manipulation (Flowing Red Stack: Scale) to increase his perceptive ability to allow himself easier access to dodging and reacting to the blast because Choso should know by this point that Ishigori has some high output meaning he should be physically strong so dodging his blood beam.
- Is definitely plausible. After some running around and evading Choso does manage to get near Ishigori and fights him in close-quarters combat to which he loses because Ishigori is a chad who bodied Yuta.
- I love Choso but he does NOT have Yuta's durability, also a misconception that if your speed, strength, etc is good that means everything is good. Jujutsu Kaisen doesn't operate like that, anyways off track but Choso's hands will be extremely damaged here and shouldn't have any type of healing.
- By this point, it depends on how Choso would react to having his hands messed up, he doesn't have Yuta's durability, healing, or mentality. I do personally think he will take a second to notify his situation, his hands hurt extremely badly, and he's used quite a bit of Curse Energy while Ishigori is still fueled.
- Only two things can happen by this point, A. he tries again but with a better strategy of using a blood orb to catch Ishigori off-guard up close (win) or B. Choso just gets destroyed in combat and rendered unable to fight in gets killed by Ishigori (loses), I will leave that up for you to decide down below.
- If you wanna know what I believe happens feel free to ask but this post isn't for me it's for the subreddit like all my posts, hope you liked it, and let me know if something you disagree with or have insight on. Please like the post, thank you, and have a wonderful rests of your nights people.
