Geto from JJK0 vs Toji... Who would win ?
Me and my damned monkey brothers have been arguing over this for an hour. Since I am a casual jjk fan, and so are my damned monkey brothers, I wanted to ask this question to people who live and breathe the story.
The following are my points as to why Geto would win, if that wasn’t obvious already:
- Although I’m 100% positive Toji could exorcise 8k curses, I doubt he could do so all at once, as he lacks the ability to perform any multi-directional strikes simultaneously, despite how devastating his weapons are against curses in general. In other words, the sheer number of curses he’d have to exorcise is too high for him. He even said in hidden inventory that if he’d killed teenage Geto with 1000 curses in him, it would be tiring to exorcise them all at once.
- Even if Toji chooses not to exorcise all curses, such as the weaker ones, to concentrate on the strong ones, the sheer number of the small ones coming at him would overwhelm him, or at the very least cause a form of distraction that can't be ignored, and that Geto can use to his advantage. Also, why would Toji say back in inventory arc that 1000 curses would be tiresome for him, if he wasn't planning on also exorcising the weak ones? This to me implies that, even though Geto would through him weak curses, Toji would still have to exorcise them, or get killed.
- The diversity of curses coming at Toji would be so great that he would have to adapt to multiple, specific ways to defeat multiple curses at once, which, despite his great ability, he hasn't been able to do. His fight against rainbow dragon wasn't exactly a one second thing, even if he absolutely bodied that curse. Imagine if 1/4 (2000 curses) of Geto's curses were special grade, Toji qwould be overwhelmed.
- Although Toji is brilliant in terms of physicality, Geto by this time seems to be a lot closer to him in terms of hand-to-hand combat, speed wise as well. I’m not saying he’d beat Toji’s physical prowess of course, but the gap has closed so much, and the cursed energy enhancements that Geto can pull by this time are also noteworthy.
If Gege has himself said that Geto would be able to defeat the disaster curses, as well as having said that he would have defeated Yuta and Rika if he hadn’t had to split his forces to account for distracting Gojo, he should technically be able to defeat Toji, shouldn’t he? From what I’ve read Yuta vs Toji is almost unanimously a Yuta win, so a 28 year old Geto should be able to pull it off as well.
This one is a bit of a leap but we don’t know how many special grades Geto has accumulated by this time, what other techniques he’s learned, and even what his domain technique entails. There are too many unknowns for Toji to contend with, I think. Toji’s abilities on the other hand are great, but there’s no surprises. Geto already knows what to expect from fighting Toji before, so he’d also have the knowledge advantage
Like Toji, Geto lacks screen time, so we haven't seen him in enough scenarios to assuredly say that Toji would take the win, although its a problem that both characters suffer from.
In EVERY power ranking I’ve seen, Toji is ranked lower than Geto, mostly separated by 2-3 characters/curses, such as Rika.
*Lastly, one of the reasons why Kenjaku is so powerful is BECAUSE of Geto’s techniques and abilities. That has to count for something right?
If you've managed to read through this papyrus, thank you. We all agree that the fight would be close, we just don't know who'd win, that's all.t
