Instagram Update Idea 2024!

I’ve had an idea for an Instagram update for a while and I thought if I shared it on here the likeliness that we might actually get it will go up!

Instagram should make it so you can combine multiple separate posts into one carousel! That way people can customize their feed in a different way making multiple picture slide posts more detailed and common! Also make it to where it would combine the comments, likes and engagement from all the different posts into one post when you combine them into a carousel. Make this feature reversible too incase users want to revert them back into a singular post.

It would also be cool if we could add pictures from our camera roll into already posted carousels.

Another cool feature would be the ability to replace an image on an already posted image Incase the user wanted to change the photo or add something else after posting. Also making this feature reversible where the user can go back to the original picture if they change their mind.

Hopefully someone at Meta / Instagram will see this and consider bringing this idea to life soon! Please share if you like this idea!
