Is Care medical insurance good for parents?

My parents are 59 and 57. One of them have BP & Thyroid. We already have a Star health insurance of 2 lakhs but now I am planning to port it. I have spoken to Ditto representative and had shortlisted 2 options - Care & HDFC.

I know that HDFC is the best but it has 3 years waiting period for PED. Also it is a bit costlier.
But Care has an addon that reduces PED to 1 year.

so I was inclining towards Care. I wanted to know if there is anyone who has Care insurance and how was your claim experience with them? Should I go ahead with them? and is it recommended to buy it through Ditto? I actually loved how well the person helped me.
