Best optimization for low end computer?

My computer isn’t that great. It can run Minecraft fine but specifically dungeons it becomes nearly unplayable. I usually just use lunar for dg since it runs much better but even now for some reason it was just so laggy. Don’t know if hypixel changed something but I can’t return to dungeons if my game freezes every 5ish seconds. Any way to help (preferably forge)?
