Everlast siding?
Hello!
Currently comparing options for siding for a smaller bungalow (1,100 sq. ft.). Originally we were looking at high-end vinyl since we'd like a darker colour (and prices on everything are high at the moment), but after looking at some higher-end options (LP Smartside, Wood, Hardie, etc) I came across Everlast composite siding as an option. It seems to tick all the boxes we're looking for:
- Solid colour all the way through (so no painting)
- Good durability in both hot and cold temps (important, as here where I live in Canada, temperature ranges from 95F in the summer to -40F in the winter)
- Good resistance to rot (plastic-based)
So, on the face of it, it appears to be a strong contender with Hardie and LP Smartside, but I am wondering if anyone else has used it? It's very hard to find reviews/impressions online. Lots of people saying it looks great, but also posts saying that they went with another option due to cost.
If anyone has any experience with this, I would definitely appreciate an opinion!
